Generosity Champion Donation

Earlier this year, The Hospital Foundation launched the Generosity Champion program at AdventHealth Polk, giving team members an opportunity to support their colleagues through regular charitable donations.  Thanks to the generosity of these employees, The Hospital Foundation presented AdventHealth Polk with a check for $3,470 to support the Team Member Care Fund.


Through our local Generosity Champion program, the $3,470 was donated by AdventHealth Polk team members between February and September of 2026. 

During the transition to AdventHealth Polk, there was a period of time during which employees were not able to contribute to the Teammate Care Fund.  This delay in employee contributions caused the Teammate Care Fund to become nearly depleted in late 2025.  In November of 2025, The Hospital Foundation Board of Trustees donated $4,000 to ensure funds were available for AdventHealth Polk teammates in need.

He will be speaking about the new Cardiac Rehab program coming to AdventHealth Polk in September. The Hospital Foundation helped fund this new program by purchasing the patient monitoring system used during the rehabilitation sessions. 2026 Ache Around The Lake

The 2026 Ache Around The Lake is scheduled for October 10th at Lake Lanier. This year, we will have 3 events on Race day: 1 Mile Fun Run for Kids, 2 mile Walk Run for kids and adults, and the 8KM Ache Around Lake Lanier. Every Donation Makes A Difference

The Hospital Foundation in support of AdventHealth Polk is always happy to receive a donation of any size. During Coon Dog Day in Saluda, NC, a community member made a heartfelt donation of two dollars as her way of supporting our local hospital. Every donation allows the Foundation to support AdvenHealth Polk by purchasing equipment and sponsoring programs.

Car, Truck & Bike Show Winners

The Hospital Foundation was fortunate to have over 70 Cars, Trucks, & Motorcycles at this year's Men's Health Tune-Up.
