The 2026 Ache Around The Lake is scheduled for October 10th at Lake Lanier. This year, we will have 3 events on Race day: 1 Mile Fun Run for Kids, 2 mile Walk Run for kids and adults, and the 8KM Ache Around Lake Lanier. The Hospital Foundation in support of AdventHealth Polk is always happy to receive a donation of any size. During Coon Dog Day in Saluda, NC, a community member made a heartfelt donation of two dollars as her way of supporting our local hospital. Every donation allows the Foundation to support AdvenHealth Polk by purchasing equipment and sponsoring programs.
The Hospital Foundation was fortunate to have over 70 Cars, Trucks, & Motorcycles at this year's Men's Health Tune-Up. The Hospital Foundation in support of AdventHealth Polk was excited to sponsor the opening concert of the 2026 Summer Tracks concert series. The Summer Tracks concert series is organized by Peter Eisenbrown and brings great performers to Rogers Park. The Foundation was fortunate to sponsor the performance of Sweet Megg.
AdventHealth Polk recently held the Grand Opening for their new Obstetrics & Gynecology Office in Columbus. Irene Besser is the clinic's Certified Nurse Midwife and bring over 30 years of experience in OB/GYN services. The Hospital Foundation had Irene as the guest speaker at our Women's Ambassador event in April.
