Summer Tracks - June 5th

The Hospital Foundation in support of AdventHealth Polk will be sponsoring the June 5th Summer tracks Concert.   Headlining that evening's performance will be Sweet Megg.

Sweet Megg is a genre-blending vocalist and songwriter, weaving jazz, country, and blues into a sound that feels both timeless and fresh. Originally from NYC and now based in Nashville, she has traveled the world honing her craft everywhere from Parisian jazz clubs to Southern honky-tonks.  Her last studio album, *Never Been Home* (#23 on the Americana charts and #1 on the Alt-Country Radio charts), showcased her signature writing style through 12 eclectic original Americana songs. She is currently writing her next original album and, in the meantime, releasing a new jazz album, *Massive Negroni*.    https://www.sweetmegg.com



The Hospital Foundation will be bringing our custom fans to the concert again this year.  Peter said the fans are a big hit with the Summer Tracks concert goers, so make sure you get one.

Friday September 18, 2026 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM Tom Raymond Fitness Trail behind AdventHealth Polk This month's guest speaker will be AdventHealth Polk Cardiologist Dr. Wilson Kemp. He will be speaking about the new Cardiac Rehab program coming to AdventHealth Polk in September. The Hospital Foundation helped fund this new program by purchasing the patient monitoring system used during the rehabilitation sessions. The 2026 Ache Around The Lake is scheduled for October 10th at Lake Lanier. This year, we will have 3 events on Race day: 1 Mile Fun Run for Kids, 2 mile Walk Run for kids and adults, and the 8KM Ache Around Lake Lanier. Every Donation Makes A Difference

The Hospital Foundation in support of AdventHealth Polk is always happy to receive a donation of any size. During Coon Dog Day in Saluda, NC, a community member made a heartfelt donation of two dollars as her way of supporting our local hospital. Every donation allows the Foundation to support AdvenHealth Polk by purchasing equipment and sponsoring programs.

Car, Truck & Bike Show Winners

The Hospital Foundation was fortunate to have over 70 Cars, Trucks, & Motorcycles at this year's Men's Health Tune-Up.
